Spring clean, close down clean, builders clean

This entails the following service:

• Windows cleaned
• Shutters brushed and washed (inside and out)
• Cupboards cleaned (inside and out)
• All woodwork
• Oven/hob
• Refrigerator cleaned and freezer defrosted
• Linen cupboard tidied with inventory compiled, typed and kept on record by the caretaker and the owner
• Bedrooms – mattresses vacuumed (spring clean)
• Packing away of duvets, pillows, blankets wrapped and stored away in winter (close down)
• Bathrooms, shower rooms and w.c.
• Outdoor furniture cleaned pre-season and washed and stored away for close down
• Patios and terraces cleaned
• Plastic sheeting placed over furniture (close down)
• After building work the house is fully cleaned to your specifications and any furniture that has been removed will be re-positioned to your requirements

• Basic gardening – Mowing, strimming, raking. Hedge trimming, pruning, beds and borders, weeding, planting containers and hanging baskets, pruning and dead heading
• Intermediate gardening – overgrown areas for cutting back and clearing. Tree lopping/cutting/planting. Irrigation

• If requested we can ensure that before you arrive at your property in France, the house will be cleaned and aired, the beds made up, towels are out, the refrigerator turned on and the hot water. If your arrival is after dark we will ensure that an outside light is on, plus an internal light to welcome you.
• We can arrange for a small food pack or any other items of shopping to be bought prior to your stay.
• When you leave, the house will be cleaned, the refrigerator emptied, cleaned and unplugged, any laundry washed, dried and ironed and put away. The house will then be closed up for the time you are away.

KEYHOLDING AND SECURITY CHECKS 

We understand and appreciate that your main or second home is important to you, and security is paramount.

►We offer you peace of mind with our key holding and security check service where we will carry out security checks weekly, fortnightly, monthly – whatever your require.  Thus ensuring your house and grounds are monitored and looked after in your absence.

►Our key holding service extends to times when repairs or work carried out to your property in your absence is required.  We can organise deliveries to your house and be on site to receive any tradesmen and secure the house afterwards.

LAUNDRY SERVICE

We offer a full laundry service at the start of you or your guest’s holiday and a midweek change of linen if required.

• We will arrange a suitable time with your guests to collect dirty linen and towels and leave fresh linen for you.

• Our charges are competitive to other holiday companies

• All our linen is freshly laundered and towels tumble dried for softness

• Our prices reflect the cost per person – 1 x sheet, 1 x duvet cover, 2 pillow cases, bath mat, bath towel, hand towel and pool towel.  This includes the cost of soap powder, fabric softener, tumble dryer sheets, electricity, water and ironing.

WINTER CARE SERVICE 

During the winter, in your absence, a multitude of things could happen.  Storms and bad weather during the winter mean that caring for your house is essential.

• We will keep a close surveillance of your property, both inside and out.

• Should any repairs be required we will always obtain your permission first before any works are undertaken.

• As part of the close down, turning off of all services to the house i.e. water, gas, EDF and locking and securing of your property 

Our winter care service includes:
 
Exterior: 
►Checking of windows, doors and shutters

►Emptying mail boxes and forwarding on or dealing with post
►Checking gutters and down pipes for any damage or blockages

INVENTORY SERVICE

We can offer you a full inventory service prior to your first guests arriving. A full and concise list of each room and its contents, this will be typed and prepared into a small portfolio, a copy for the caretaker to check at the end of the season and a copy for the client.
